All presentations shall be given in English. Primary mode of presentation is short oral communications.
Poster presentations will only be included if the number of submitted abstracts exceeds the number of oral communications that can be accomodated in the program.

*Reduced registration fees are applicable to students upon presentation of confirmation of student status ( confirmation form).
Registration fees include participation at the scientific program, refreshments during the meeting,
and the social program.
Participation is free of charge for invited plenary speakers and for APHAR honorary members.
Participation at the minisymposium "Current Topics in Brain Dopamine Research: A Tribute to Oleh Hornykiewicz on the Occasion of his 80th Birthday"

The abstract deadline is 6 September 2006.
At least one of the authors of an abstract must be a member of APHAR or ASTOX.
Abstracts will be published in Pharmacology and will be available in printed form at the meeting.

All presentations shall be given in English.
Short oral communications:
The presentation should be 10 minutes, followed by a 5 min discussion.
The lecture theatre of the Institute of Pharmacology in Vienna is equipped for presentations with PowerPoint (PC format; double projections are NOT possible).
Poster presentations:
The dimensions of the poster boards are: width: 90 cm, height: 135 cm. Please put up your poster on Thursday (meeting starts at 08:30 hrs) and leave it on
display until the end of the meeting on Saturday (meeting ends at 12:30 hrs). Presenting authors are requested to indicate their presence at their poster on the
poster board (preferably during coffee breaks).
The presenters of ASTOX posters are requested to be present at their poster at the ASTOX Poster Session (Thursday 23 Nov, 13:3014:00).
Please make sure that you put up your poster before the session starts.
The best ASTOX presentation (short communication or poster) will be selected to receive the Roche Prize (EUR 500), which will be awarded at the end of the
Thursday afternoon ASTOX Symposium.
Posters should remain on display throughout the entire meeting (i.e. until Saturday noon).

T r a v e l G r a n t s :

Up to 8 travel grants will be available for students from institutions outside of Vienna
(Euro 200 for western Austria, otherwise Euro 150).
Download the grant application form (RTF format), fill in the required information
and send the form by fax (+43-316-380-694310, alternative fax: +43-316-380-9645).
Forms must be signed by the applicant and the project director or head of department.
Grants will be awarded in order of their arrival.
